I was also into the new age and channelling and hearing other dimensions, spirit guides, dead, aliens - but I know consider all of these forces to be demonic entities posing to satisfy our naive spiritual curiosity and to lure us away from God and into the delusions that we are gods and can become enlightened and god. But this is totally wrong, there is only one Creator and we should seek him and not become deluded we are enlightened and omniscient.
